Meet Lucy Patarcic

I am an experienced and highly qualified Sex Therapist, Sexologist, Relationship Counsellor, Sex Educator and Clinical Hypnotherapist in private practice at Bondi Junction and Wollongong (Fairy Meadow). I am passionate about helping people and find it extremely rewarding to see progress and positive changes that evolve in people’s lives. I use an integrated and solution focused approach to therapy in a friendly, safe, professional and confidential environment.

I have been in private practice since 2006 with thousands of client hours under my belt. I have completed a Master of Health Science (Sexual Health) at the University of Sydney, where I was trained in the psychological and medical areas of sexual health counselling. I have also completed a 2nd Masters Degree, being a Master of Science in Medicine (HIV, STIs and Sexual Health) specialising in Public Health at the University of Sydney (Sydney Medical School).

Previous studies include hypnotherapy at the Academy of Applied Hypnosis, completed Master Practitioner training at the Australasian Institute of NLP, Meta-Coaching with Dr L. Michael Hall and ESI Mapping and Advanced Skills incorporating Neuropsychotherapy.

My beginnings as a Registered Clinical Hypnotherapist and later on a Master Practitioner of NLP and Meta Coach, offer a unique approach to therapy in my specialised field of work.

I have an in-depth understanding of the complex nature of human sexuality and I am passionate about helping people with their sexual health concerns. Due to the delicate subject matter of my work, I will at times bring humour into sessions as I have found it to be a great icebreaker in assisting clients to feel more comfortable in discussing their concerns.

Ongoing Professional Development is important to me. I attend supervision, workshops and seminars on a regular basis to keep up to date with the latest information.
